Art Instructor/Party Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Instructor/Party Leader to join our art studio for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and be able to teach art classes and lead weekend art birthday parties. The Art Instructor/Party Leader will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging learning environment for children while teaching them a variety of art techniques and mediums.
Responsibilities:
- Teach art classes to children of various ages and skill levels
- Plan and lead weekend art birthday parties
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various art techniques and mediums
- Provide individualized attention to each child and encourage their creativity and self-expression
- Maintain a safe and clean learning environment for children
- Manage art supplies and ensure they are well-stocked
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and behavior
- Participate in studio events and promotions
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting
- Strong artistic skills and knowledge of various art techniques and mediums
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and understanding when working with children of varying ages and skill levels
- Ability to multitask and manage a group of children in a safe and productive manner
- Availability to work weekends and some evenings
- Must pass a background check
