Then I heard from a friend that Shadi herself is here and running classes—it was probably the best news I could have received at the time. Her classes are truly wonderful—full of positive energy, excitement, and creative activities. Not only do the kids have a great time, but they also learn so many valuable skills. Shadi herself is incredibly kind and lovely, and her classes are amazing. The studio space is colorful and inviting with lots of different kinds of art materials available. The kids were invited to choose among the different stations, and my daughter said it was the most freedom she has had at any camp. She asked to go there again next time we visit Vancouver.

The staff are amazing—so patient, welcoming, and supportive with the kids. My daughter can sometimes take a little time to warm up to new spaces, but the environment here made it so easy for her to feel comfortable and excited to participate. She’s created some truly amazing art that we proudly display around our house, and she loves showing it off to every guest who comes over. It’s a joyful and engaging one-hour session for the kids, and it’s also very enjoyable for the moms. There are many fun activities like painting, playing with colors, gardening, and more. These activities help develop the children’s creativity, and because the class is in Persian, it also helps them connect with their mother tongue. Thank you for creating such a warm and lovely space for families. The only thing I wish is that the class could be a little longer than one hour because the time goes by so quickly!
